Adrian Heard, (born March 26, 1984) better known by his stage name Young Age, is currently an artist, hip hop producer, and director for Young Age Productions. He attended Fremont Senior High School and graduated in 2002. He is probably most famous for his time directing music videos for various artist throughout the Bay Area and Atlantic Records artist Mistah Fab in 2011-2013.
Adrian began loving music at the age of twelve playing the clarinet at Calvin Simmons Junior High. In 2007 he created Young Age Productions. He began going to local clubs and venues to perform at shows. In 2008 is when he first picked up a camera to record his own video 500 and upgraded to a camcorder to come out with the second video Tatted Up featuring Oakland rappers Jessie “Fire Flames” James and Gung Ho. In 2009 he began a partnership with 7th Starchild Productions. They released their first music video together Tre Pounds and Pumps, with Young Age directing and editing and 7th Starchild Productions artist rapping. They would go to open mic, competitions and club venues to gain exposure in 2009 – 2010. In late 2010 Heard met Dj Supa K who gave him an opportunity to become an in-house host of his label Fa Show Productions. With Supa K’s help Heard networked with various musicians directing and editing all the footage of the showcases. In August 2010 he shot and edited his third music video Stand Up. In 2011 Heard branched off from 7th Starchild Productions for other reasons and focused on Young Age Productions. On November 4, 2011 Young Age released his first popular music video, I’m Jus Gettin Money. The video was entirely directed and edited by Age himself with featured prominent Bay Area guests Kafani and Philthy Rich.
